The EOS Rebel T1i shoots brilliant video in SD or HD quality video at a frame rate of 20 fps in Full HD. The 920,000 pixel LCD screen is of 3” size, crisp, vibrant and fully visible even in bright sunlight. The viewing angle is great as well and the LCD can easily be seen nearly 180 degrees around. The sound is recorded through the camera’s built-in microphone. Playback modes are simple to access, and all Live View AF features can be used in shooting video.

The camera has a nice and easy interface with easy to learn buttons. Live view works well with the manual focus. Video shoots are better than most point and shoot camera. The screen is large and displays everything, including easy to navigate the menu. The camera has the ability to take low light shots due to the image stabilization lenses making it good for indoor and outdoor photography. The camera also has a full set of manual features that provide the user with a ton of options
Cons
The camera has an annoying viewfinder and the autofocus is not that much perfect but works well with the manual focus. The video shooting in HD has only 20fps.
Our Take
This is a compact camera with good battery life targeted at the new photographer. Considering the image stabilization feature helping in shooting excellent photos, this is the go-to camera for a new DSLR user.
