Wide-Angle – Wide-Angle lenses allows the photographer to capture a larger area of a scene. They have two common applications – ability to take panoramic landscape shots and large areas of a room.

Standard & Medium Telephoto – These lenses are used to create a more natural angle of view and narrows down what is seen or makes the subject of the photo seem closer than it actually is.

Telephoto – Telephoto lenses allow the photographer to take zoom in photos of a subject that is not possible to get close to.

Super Telephoto – Super telephoto lenses offer high speed autofocusing together with superior lens construction.

Macro – Macro lenses are used to bring out details that the ordinary eye would miss giving photos a new perspective to extremely small photographic subjects.

Tilt-Shift – Tilt-Shift lenses allow the photographer to capture a wide depth of field while keeping the entire subject in proper focus. Distortions that may occur when capturing tall objects, such as buildings or towers, can also be corrected using this type of lens.
